Wellesley Uniform

At Wellesley, our uniform is smart and is also tailored to the needs of active boys.

Parents and whānau can purchase new uniform items either in person or online, from NZ Uniforms online or in store, 168 Thorndon Quay Wellington or 92 High Street Lower Hutt. A Wellesley 2nd Hand Uniform Facebook group has also been set up for families to buy and sell uniforms.

All uniform requirements (unless marked with **) are available from NZ Uniform shop.

Uniform Requirements

  • Blazer
  • Short Sleeve Shirt
  • Charcoal Grey Shorts
  • Tie
  • Wool Jersey
  • Charcoal Wool Socks
  • Sun Hat (Legionnaire style year 1-4, cricket style 5-8) (new student year 4, 2025, option of either hat as this is a transition year) 
  • Wellesley Rain Jacket
  • Black Leather shoes **
  • Black or Brown Sandals  – the requirements are that these are full sandals with a backstrap** (Summer Terms 1 and 4)
  • Rubber soled slippers ** (Winter Terms 2 and 3 for classroom use)
  • PE Shoes **

  • Wellesley School Tracksuit (Year 3-8, compulsory Year 7 and 8)

* Years 1 and 2 only require a change in footwear into sneakers for their PE sessions, no change of clothes. 

Second Hand Uniform

Wellesley has set up a Wellesley 2nd Hand Uniform group on Facebook, it is a private group so please request access and you are welcome to use the site to buy and sell Wellesley Uniforms only.
