It is our privilege, as an Independent Primary School for Boys in Years 1-8, to teach our ākonga, students, in this unique environment, between the bush and the sea: With the hills, the bay and the sea as their extended classroom, our boys discover the love of learning without even realising it.
The images in this gallery tell ‘The Wellesley Story‘. Since 2014, Phil Benge has been attending events and capturing our boys in action on the sports field, pool, stage, playground, camps and classroom.
A familiar face to many who have attended events at Wellesley, the talented Phil Benge works so generously and passionately to capture our boys on camera throughout the year. His contribution to Wellesley’s ‘visual history’ (since 2015) is invaluable and his recent albums are a wonderful addition to the Wellesley photography collection.
