We always knew that the Wellesley College Class of 2014 was a great year full of special young men and as you know, many of them go onto various colleges in Wellington, including Wellington College, Scots and Rongotai. The news below of the 2019 Leadership teams at these three colleges underlines the calibre of these boys. Well done to you all, Wellesley is very proud of your achievements.
Wellington College Head Prefect 2019:
Hugh Morrison (at Wellesley 2010 – 2014). Hugh has also enjoyed cricketing success, winning the Gillette Cup as part of Wellington College 1st XI team in 2018 and is captain of the team in 2019.
Wellington College Boys prefects 2019 also include Wellesley Old Boys Class of 2014: Jesse Richardson, Arlo Doak, Harper Doak, Callum Benfell, William Durkin, George Lethbridge, Paul McDonald, TJ Shirtcliffe, Christopher Bramley and Theo Hertzig.
Scots College Head Prefect (Senior School) 2019:
Callum Hancock (at Wellesley 2013-2014). Callum was also the NZ Schools’ Multisport Champion in 2018 and was 2nd in the Australian Aquathlon Champs in Queensland in April 2019.
Scots College Social Prefect (Senior School) 2019:
Joshua Mallett (at Wellesley 2007-2014). Joshua has also recently been named the Wellington Star Boating Club’s most outstanding male school rower (see Maadi Cup article on Joshua and Finbar).
Rongotai College Deputy Head Prefect 2019:
Bede Brown (at Wellesley 2013-2014) is the Deputy Head Prefect for 2019 and Dominic Coffin (at Wellesley 2008–2014) is also a Prefect at Rongotai College.
Congratulations to you all. The Class of 2014 stands proud!
