Big open plan classrooms with tons of kids and multiple teachers aren’t the best way to learn for everyone, and it can be too easy for students to become invisible.

The boys we interview often feel lost in modern learning environments. They find it difficult to engage with the class and teachers and don’t feel that they are achieving their full potential.

Our parents value a high-calibre education and ‘traditional’ schooling is at the top of the list. With strong foundations in reading, writing and maths your boy will be set up for his future learning.

At Wellesley, your son will be surrounded by peers who want to learn and teachers who want to teach. We believe boys learn differently, so our curriculum has been curated specifically for them. We promise that your boy will be seen and challenged.

We’re a boys school, so we let boys enjoy being boys. We encourage mud play, we organise wharf jumping, we send the boys to the bush and we plan challenges that we know they will thrive in.

Wellesley Boys leave as “can-do” kids with a strong sense of belonging, life-long friends, and completely prepared for secondary school.
